Thursday: 2nd pub of the night.
Wide selection of drinks, but VERY expensive, especially the gin - came with good stirrer, but there was an offer of an skinny tonic. Stick to BEER, and if you take that as a life philosophy you won't go far wrong.
One of the tables used to be a sewing machine and that was its most interesting characteristic.
Man behind the bar a little too starey and he told us to "come back soon" in a very pointed way.
Has a 'Roy Castle Clean Air Award', apparently so all is forgiven ¬_¬
Not much of a warm and welcoming atmosphere although the air was clean. Almost completely empty and the old men were sorely missed.
Not spectacular, frankly. The word banal springs to mind.
